The Story

Since August, 2013 I have enjoyed the deep privilege of getting to know and care for the greater Edwardsburg community. I have grown and learned so much from the patients I've cared for while also working to improve the overall health and well being of the community. Thus, it came as a shock when an area hospital decided to close its doors and leave Edwardsburg. With some spiritual nudging, I came to believe I could use this opportunity to reimagine what delivering care in Edwardsburg might look like.

Our name and logo arises from a dream I had just prior to the announcement that our office would be closing. I saw in it where I could fly and help others be capable of flying as well; the kind of dream that instills hope and happiness. I chose the image of a butterfly emerging from a cocoon symbolizing change, safety and inclusion.
